Why is the app slow when I zoom in very deep?

Rendering a fractal accurately gets more expensive the deeper you zoom, especially past the point where the app switches to higher-precision arithmetic. At extreme depth a single frame can take a couple of seconds — that's the app doing real work, not a hang.

How do I install the screensaver? (macOS)

Open Fractalicious, then choose Install Screen Saver… from the app menu. It reveals the screensaver file in Finder — double-click it and macOS will offer to install it in System Settings.

Does Fractalicious collect any of my data?

No. See the Privacy Policy.

What languages does it support?

English (UK & US), German (Switzerland & Germany), French, Italian, and Ukrainian — it follows your device's language setting automatically.
